In a straightforward definition of a podcast, it is a series of digital audio or video files which are distributed over the internet using syndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. Podcasts are actually a combination of two words derived from “iPod” and “Broadcast”.

How it Started?

Podcasting has emerged as a means of creating and distributing media and content across the Internet by users and producers.

It consists of the distribution media files (generally audio files) via RSS feed, downloadable computer programs to “subscribe” to those files, and the network of listeners who use those programs to receive those files.
